Billy and the Floating Eyeball of DOOM is a one-man musical science project, with little regard for genres. This debut CD includes touches of folk, rap, blues, country, punk, and surf rock. Then the second half shifts gears into the realms of psychedelic, industrial, space rock, and experimental metal. It is a revision of Folk music to include Black Sabbath alongside Bob Dylan.

1982 meets 2034
This futuristic, yet classic rock, track is really original. I've never heard a Black Sabbath sounding track with Radiohead sounding effects.

As for the songwriting, really great actually. I have never been a fan of the hair-metal hard rock genre, but this one isn't quite that. Keep up the sound effects, they save this track from being just another hard rocker, and you have a really original sound here. Great

Oingo Boingo on steroids!
The sound swims in wild circles, the guitar out in front, in a super pop wall of sound very jive groove that seems perfect for the Weird Science vocals. The lyrics are pretty heavy, could have come from that very movie. They cover a lot of scope, it seems, sort of the big picture. Probably the lyrics the song's foremost feature. I must say the distorted, twisted notes and forced instrumental harmonies are pretty intense. I'd say this was experimental high camp, down to the noodling on the synth outro.

Pass that tab.
Bon Voyage to LSD, though a mere 4 and a half minutes long makes up for it in intensity what it lacks in length, building up from a stark montage of synth cries and guitar shrieks to a bludgeoning trainwreck of a riff. Likely to send even your Granny on a trip to the outer regions of the known universe, this should be handled with care. Keep taking the tablets.

strong message lost a bit in song
the lyrics are very strong here and talk about the rampant use and availability of guns, to the wars that are waged on other lands because of human greed. in fact i think the message is so strong that it succeeds despite the somewhat haphazard music, which lacks continuity. i would like to see this band try and match it's message a bit better musically...that being said, music is an expression and art, so do whatever the F#@! you want. if however, you are looking to appeal to a wide variety of people then perhaps a change might be suited. good job on the message and interesting interpretation.

Nice use of electronic sounds. It making me think of clutch with the ocatve vocals and pentatonic groove, which also reminds me of some of the stuff les claypool has done. It has a very mid 90s-esque alternative/hard rock sound.

This song rocks
I like the way this song wraps around you like a snake. There is a lot going on effects, guitars etc. So much I couldn't concentrate on the vocals, they are delivered well though. I think this is the first time I have ever listened to a review song a second time. The guitars are first rate I like the way one holds the melody and the other is open and alive. The melody (hook) is very catchy now that I'm on my third listening I'll be singing this all night. The band reminds me of God Lives Under Water. Great song dialed in with great musicianship.

It's industrial.
It's like Rob Zombie plus Primus. I see sparks and moten metals and long hair and leather pants. Electronic drums sound kind of goofy, keep the song from sounding genuine. Otherwise, though not my kind of music, nice industrial rock.
