slightly off kilter and quirky not unlike Daniel johnston or Vic Chesnutt.

COUNTRY: Country Folk, FOLK: Folk Pop
Details:
Google "two louies bazza" for review of this cd. This album features two songs
based on books written by Joe R. Lansdale. "Savage Season"and "Joe's Bumpy Ride
". One based on the book "Casino Moon" by Peter Blauner. "Through the Gaps" was
written by Chicago poet Jenn Holiday. Legendary Northwest guitar players Billy
Kennedy,Steven James Wright,Lowell John Mitchell and Paul Brainard add the punch
that keeps you going back to the bowl. Boston folk award winner Merrie
Amsterburg slides in with beautiful Hovering vocals and mandolin playing on
"Parental Rights & Wrongs". Jazz bassist Dan Davis keeps the bottom kind a
spooky, especially on the scary "Air Show" the best song ever written about 911.
Portland chanteuse Gina Noell sends out beautiful vibrations while dueting with
Bazza on many of the songs. Check out the unusual voice combos on "Amethyst the
Queen". The spice of this gumbo is added by Wayne Waits, washboard rig and Green
David PLatt on congas. If you hear a push lawn mower in the mix you're not
losing it. After all this is not called "Odd Duck" for nothin'.Music critic S.P
Clarke says "not unlike Daniel Johnson or Vic Chesnutt, Bazza's music is
typically a slightly off-kilter affair, with enough unconventional quirks to
sequester it in a genre eddy far from the mainstream."This of course should not
be viewed as a bad thing."
