Bless was born Anthony Jackson on January 28, 1980 in Atlanta, Ga, but as he grew his southern experience was replaced by New York's values. While growing up off and on in the Bronx, he developed his love for hip-hop. His older brother made him rhyme on the block, rhyme himself to sleep, trying desperately to keep him occupied on rhymes and nothing else, until rhyming was a six sense to Bless. Even with Bless going back and forth from Atlanta to New York his path to musical success was far from made. While going through his childhoods ups and downs, his east coast travels, the military, college, fatherhood, a broken marriage Bless managed to survive and keep his dream alive.

During this journey Bless has done street promotions for Def Jam, Elektra, Universal, and Atlantic Records. Despite coming back to Atlanta and winning many local talent shows, Bless New York accent held him back in the southern region, but never one to be deterred, Bless was committed to letting his skills speak for themselves and stayed busy by , ghost writing for Devyne Stephens, to working with Anthony Gunter on a song for Brandy, shopping to Arista on Bria Fuetues record with Dalos Entertainment or working with the Swedish Idol man himself Peter Swartling.

As the years passed Bless got tired of the broken promises, deals not following all the way through, and patiently waiting on a major label to release his debut album. They say out of struggle comes progress, so he realized that he had to do it himself. He founded BÌyon Lyfe Entertainment, which consist of a record label, a film company, and a publishing company which is affiliated with ASCAP. The man once waiting on the industry to open it's doors to him now has his hands full blazing his own path.. Mindful of the obstacles he has overcome Bless is determined to stay true to himself and his music

Bless is finally gearing up to release his first album "Unstable Resident". This fierce introduction will undoubtedly grab attention. His first album will bring a compelling mix of northern swagger with southern hospitality. With rhymes for his hoods, his kin and society. When questioned about the title, he replied, "I am an unstable resident. An UNSTABLE RESIDENT is someone who has bounced from place to place and made where ever they laid their head their home. I am Georgia born, New York raised, how unstable is that?"

With platinum success at his fingertips, what's next for Bless? Besides promoting "Unstable Resident", he's on his way to Sweden to do more work with Peter Swartling (Swedish Idol).when he gets back from Sweden he will be ready to go on tour. With his second artist on his label working on finishing her album Bless will be busy producing that album He will be working on his next album. He has a really hectic schedule ahead but he is up to the challenge.

Complimented over the years as having the heart of Tupac, the gullyness of Bigg, the storytelling of Slick Rick, the education of Nas and the delivery similar to Jay-z, Bless now stands ready to make his own mark on the music world. In a nut shell, the true essence of hip-hop is returning, and that return starts with none other than Bless. KRS-ONE said it best " The ice age is cool, but there comes a time when the ice melts, and the sun rises, and new vegetation begins to grow." And the world will know that the new vegetation is and will be Bless.
