in 1990-black walt formed(black mafia),gritty inner-city rap group consisting of 5 neighborhood friends-black walt,boss hoss(midwest side),short nitty,bakarii(57th street rogue dogs),and techn9ne.

in 1995-black walt formed(the famili),consisting of black walt,boss hoss,o.g. riff,al foxx,and q dawg.the famili released a very successful single(show me state),which was on kprs-hot 103 pump it or dump it program for over 1 month!



in 2000-black walt formed (ilimaf),consisting of black walt,chev dev,da nuggie man,ross da boss,d-loc,j-blast,j-ball,ken-loc,q-dawg,nappy-reg,and t-rone.ilimaf released a very successful cd(donât piss me off)independently underground across the u.s.a.,selling a estimated 20,000 units!



in 2005-black walt released his first solo cd(rulez to da game),under ilimaf records,garnering radio play in kansas city(boiling point on 103),jefferson city,missouri(kjlu 88.9),st.louis,missouri(katz 100.3),and tulsa oklahoma(the beat 101.5).



now in 2006-black walt has released his 2nd solo cd titled(#1 draft pick),with 2 lead singles-(get up out),a very up close n personal track,detailing the trials n tribulations of black walts personal life,over live guitar played by black walts big bro(bruce jefferson).the other lead single iz(rap map),black walts plea to area djs and artists,to support and play each others music,the same way we do major artists from other regions.
