A classic from 1946, written by Percy Boomer, with an intro by the Duke of Windsor. It's good advice, and seriously, this game has hardly changed a whit in 60 years!
Percy Boomer taught golf in France for 25 years before publishing his book on swing instruction in 1946, and it has been in demand ever since. Golf teachers throughout the English speaking world use ideas from this book, and recommend it to their pupils. One of the best method books around these days.
Percy teaches with imagery and feel, and is able to clearly convey a good sense of the swing to the reader. But what we like most is his approach to developing "muscle memory" for a really fine golf swing. "Every drive, every long shot, every short shot is the same.' 'You putt as you drive.' 'You drive as you putt." We believe this is the most important idea for a player who is working on consistency.
It contains 131 pages of essential information.
