MOVIE - 1936


Enest Bliss (Cary Grant), a London Socialite, who has inherited a hugh sum of money, and has been living it up spending it on drink and partying for quite some time. He goes to see a doctor because he is not feeling well. His doctor says he has seen this problem in many people of his stature. He says that his problem is that he is too rich. He prescribes him to get a job and not spend any of his inherited money for a year, even if the job pays only enough to get a room and food to eat and at the end of the year he will be cured. The doctor says that he has prescribed this to other people but they never take his advice and knows that Ernest wont either. Ernest strikes back stating that if he can not do it, he will give the doctor 50,000 english pounds. He starts his adventure with only a five pound note. During his self imposed poverty, he meets many wonderful people and mabey his future wife.
