Formed in Los Angeles, USA, in 2004 by vocalist Anthony Kidd and guitarist Joe Alves. Soon thereafter they put together an album. Then through mutual friends they acquired, bassist Drew Westfahl and drummer Christian Cepeda.
Anthony Kidd was born in Stockport England. Joe Alves was born in Portugal and raised in South Africa. To complete the eclectic group, then came along Christian Cepeda who was born in Chile and Drew Westfahl from Eureka, California.
Buy This Band first performed live in 2004. The next couple of years they released two well-acclaimed singles "Brother" and "Physical Plays." In 2005, a self released album gained the attention of local music magazines and critics alike.
