As a solo performer, he knows countless songs, and crafts his shows to suit the audience at hand, whether itâs rowdy college kids or their equally rowdy elders.
As a lead guitarist he has shared the stage with Chris Duarte, Son Seals, Mason Ruffner, Jimmy Thackery, Smokinâ Joe Kubek, Rockinâ Jake, Tinsley Ellis, Papa Chubby, Dave Hole, Bernard Ellison, and countless others while hosting a weekly Jam Night in a club he later came to own. As Billy puts it, âI Jam Therefore I Amâ.
The current Billy Bourbon Band features veteran Texas musician Tom Rogers on Bass, and Buck Lawrtence on drums. Together they have a show that is funny, entertaining, sells drinks, and ROCKS!!!
