Beihl and Hedman
the Big Idea
Fashionably Late

The name has changed, but itâs still the same great music thatâs come to be expected of Manhattan, KS duo Pam Beihl (lead vocals, guitar) and Bree Heitman (vocals, piano).

The Big Idea is their 2nd album, recorded with bassist Keenan Roach and drummer Ben Stamey in 2003. Highlights include Wouldnât Change a Thing, Union Station, Coward, Rock of Virtue and Much Sweeter Grain.

Of their 1st CD, 2000âs Disregarding Popularity, music critic Chris Meck says: â...gorgeous, spot-on harmonies and excellent musicianship. While some of the more uptempo tunes may have you thinking of the Indigo Girls... Beihl and Hedman display an instrumental prowess matched by few in this genre.â Highlights include: Emilie, Last Remnants, Inhibitions, Grace & Dignity, and Wrecked.

2005 saw a new name change to Fashionably Late, the addition of manager Philip Sears, and the groundwork for a new CD (recording begins 2006!). Highlights will include: Settle for the Crush, Spectacle, Airport Culture, crowd favorite Lucy, and Waiting for the Grandeur.
