Details:
When he's not serving as Executive Vice President of IRN, Inc., Phil Biggs is usually looking for pad of paper, a pen or his laptop and trying to find a moment to do his songwriting. Since his days in the late 1970's as a member of the acoustic trio Kooyman, Biggs and Anderson through his recent return to solo performing, Phil has passionately put forth a body of original songs including Shop Floor, Tennessee Flyer, Garden of Hope, The Light In You, Meridian Wind, Fallen Town, The Talking Earth, Spirit of Three Fires and Bells All Over the World.

In 2003, Phil was executive producer of Standing Together, a CD of original songs by local songwriters to support the needs of the Grand Rapids Public Schools. He coordinated the entire project and contributed a song, Gentle Dance. In 2004, with the help of friend and producer Michael Crittenden, Phil released another CD of original songs, New Road Home, and has plans for a new effort tentatively titled Reaching Deeper, due out by the end of 2006.

Phil has played venues including the BOB, DeVos Center, Schulerâs Theatre, Grand Valley State University, Forest Hills Fine Arts Center, Calder Festival, and numerous other performance locations. As owner of One World Music, his future plans include efforts to market his writing in Nashville, New York, and Los Angeles.
