...Family & friends are the heart of this musician's life, with his wife of 7 years , Kris and their 5 year old son Cody being the foundation of his inspiration & support.
Billy started playing music when he was 13 years old and from that point on, he was hooked. He's been playing professionally for 15 years with bands under the names of Country Cousins, Bootleg Country, Unbranded and Kickin' Back. He was the state runner-up in the True Value Jimmy Dean Country Showdown (with the band, Unbranded). Billy has opened in concert for Aaron Tippin (@ the Marion County Fair), Marty Stewart, John Anderson, and The Wilkinson's (@ the Cheboygan County Fair). In 1999 he released his first CD with the band Unbranded (all songs were written by Billy) and this year, 2006, he released his first solo project entitled "6 or 7-teen More."
