My name is Bobby Earl Lahmon and I grew up in The Virden -Addition community a neighborhood located in North- West Jackson
Mississippi back in the 70s this is a comedy project just plain studio humor my inspiration for these songs comes from 2 sources 1. Real life experiences of my teen aged past 2.And the other comes from current political and social events on a state local and federal level that captured my attention long enough for me to write about them
I've been in the church for over 20 years and I've found that in many church circles they encourage christians to forget their past but your past is just as much a part of your life as the present is I said that to say this it is only
through God's grace and mercy that I'm still here today and is able reach back into my past and laugh about some of tha crazy things we did back then every song on this album was written for comedy expect Trk. 11 (THE FALLEN CREW)I wrote that song for 2 reasons 1. To remind myself as well as others of just how precious life itself is 2. Also to remember as many of my old friends and classmates from my old neighborhood as I can that are not here anymore some of them didn't even make it out of the 70s Friends like WAYNE BANKS,CURTIS AUSTIN,DUNCAN HOLMES,RAYFIELD SCOTT,THELMA ANDERSON,DERRY SMITH,FLOYD JONES,ANTHONY(aka crook)ELLIS,LARRY&BOBBY WAREN,RONNIE SUTTUN and that's just a few, You may be gone but definitely not forgotten R.I.P. My brother and sisters.
