We think this is a breakthrough CD for Flight 2DA Light. (F2DL) an LA based band formed in the fall of 07. The title track âThe Hustleâ is a dance track with a message that simply states if you ainât hustlnâ you ainât livinâ. âYou take me to Heavenâ features a sweet arrangement and tasty keyboard work by Michael Brooks, solid horn work by sax man Phil Ross and trumpeter Kenneth Christopher. Then thereâs the âHateradeâ track that takes aim at the haters of the world and hits them right between the eyes, itâs fun, itâs fat and itâs funky. âThis is my promise to youâ is a love song that says through it all Iâll be there for you. âHeaven made this day for you and meâ (a wedding song) is all about the splendor of the moment. The Gospel joint is âPray about itâ and it explores the undeniable power in prayer.
