A great collection of 26 songs, more than 70 minutes of pure latin music. You will find here Mambos, Descargas, Guarachas & Cumbias that were never released before except on vinyl. Compilation made by MAG label and the music was taken from the original master tapes. This album includes songs from Lucho Macedo, Tito Chicoma, Betico Salas, Carlos Picklin, Mario Allison, Al Valdes Jr., Coco Lagos, Melcochita and others. A mix of Latin rhythms with Latin jazz.
This compilation starts with one of the most prolific bands, Lucho Macedo y su Sonora, he recorded more than 600 songs on MAG and continuous his carrier on other labels later, now he shows a potpourri with four Latin jazz piano songs all mixed on one track. Another good piano player on this collection is Carlos Pickling y Orq with five old mambos; three of them are cover versions of Perez Prado.

Also some orchestras: Carlos Noyes and The Swing Maker Band with a couple of mambo tunes and Andrés de Colbert y Orchestra appears a couple of times with pachanga tunes, in other words, guaracha for dance floors. Also a couple of good singers as solo artist: César Gonzáles and Alberto Cortés.

Some of the best peruvian percussion players appears on this collection too, like Mario Allison y su combo with the song ¨Cuando salí de Cuba¨, Al Valdes Jr. & Chocolate with an amazing percussion for dancefloors with the song: ¨Gózalo¨; Melcochita y Karamanduka appears on a crazy jazzy blues called: ¨Boogajazz¨ and Coco Lagos y sus Orates with another killer tune ¨Descarga jala jala¨

This time the guys with golden arm, Tito Chicoma, Betico Salas, Freddy Roland and Pochi Marambio, all trumpet players. Tito appears with four latin danceable songs, Betico another four, take a special look on ¨Cactus¨ and ¨Que Buena estᨠwhich is a descarga with latin jazz, composed by Perez Prado; Freddy Roland appears with ¨Muneca preciosa¨, and last but not least Pochi Marambio close this collection with a nice version of ¨Ansiedad¨, a classic tune.
