At the age of 15, Aaron Crane was already writing his own material and singing at local establishments. After earning a degree in music, he headed to Nashville and landed a deal with the Cannery label. With friend and co-writer Kerry Phillips, he released the single "Put the Dog Outside". Robert Oermann of Disc-Claimer said of Phillips and Crane, "Wonderful, from the jazzy melody to the hillbilly vocal and the hot little instrumental work...a nice, nice record." Billboard Magazine called it "a fun tune, tightly produced and well sung." Aaron's solo effort has lead him back to the Louisville area to write and record his 2005 release. Stephen George of the LEO Magazine said, "Musically speaking, Aaron Crane doesn't play games. His album 'It's Personal' is entirely and exactly that.
