Details:
The As You Go Band is an American Band playing in the Americana style.

Americana is a way of telling the multilayered story of human existence, the journey of mankind. That journey supplies a rich river of experience from which music and lyrics naturally flow. The Creator of the world and author of that deep river remains mixed up in our individual expeditions and the collective journey of the race.

This ceaseless movement and interaction results in song with the As You Go Band: joyful songs, sad songs, challenging songs both simple and complex.

The band is made up up Rick, Steve, Guy, and Galen. Here is the bio of Guy. Guy grew up playing music on the North Side of Chicago, IL. In the 80âs he toured nationally either playing with or sharing concert stages with Robert Palmer, Dave Mason, Commander Cody & His Lost Planet Airmen, Leon Russell, The Grass Roots, Leo Kottke, Chuck Berry, Leslie Gore, Tommy James and The Shondels, and many more. In a 1982 music review Variety Magazine said: âSteagall plays the 6 string lead guitar⦠and shows impressive technique in high speed picking⦠Indefatigable, pours it on throughout.â
