Michael Gold (Brandon Lee), a Soldier of Fortune is recruited by the CIA to make contact with a German Scientist (Ernest Borgnine) living in Cuba and offers him freedom in America and a chance to write his own ticket in exchange for working for the U.S. Government in making his Diamond Assisted Laser Weapon but the KGB wants him also, but are they responsible for the diamond heist or is there someone else that wants the weapon besides the two Super Powers. Who will get the Secret Weapon, America, Russia or someone else?
