Details:
Alysha Brooke was born in the Toronto suburb of Oakville, Ontario, Canada on September 26, 1986. Right from the age of 3, when she performed on her first stage it was clear she would be a performer.

When Alysha was eight, the family made a move that set the stage for everything that was to follow. They packed up and moved to a quiet 10-acre property in a rural area north of Milton, Ontario. As the second youngest in a family of seven daughters, there was never a quiet moment in Alyshaâs home! But Alyshaâs large family, many animals including her horse, and country upbringing were some of the biggest influences in her young career and helped to shape her path on the road to a career in country music.

By the 11th grade she had become quite an accomplished dancer/singer and was chosen as one of a select few in North America to perform in a prestigious dance gala at Ceasars Palace in Las Vegas. After completing this adventure, Alysha was faced with a decision: song or dance. Needless to say, Alysha went with her first love: song. And as for country music? Well, Alysha fell naturally into this vein, largely influenced by one of her older sister's musical taste. As a youngster, Alyshaâs choice in music had always been different than those of her friends, her favorite radio station being a local oldies station -- not the norm for your average 10-year-old! So classic music and the country life combined to shape Alysha Brooke as the country music artist that she is today.

After deciding on music as a career, Alysha released her debut self-financed 6 song CD, Nuthinâ but a Chevy, in October 2004. She had toured the local rodeo circuit that summer, singing wherever she could to anyone who would listen. She spent many days alone on a stage in small towns across southern Ontario with a microphone and a karaoke machine, honing her musical skills and loving every minute of it.

Shortly after the release of her debut CD, Alyshaâs local press coverage began to increase and her drive and determination soon caught the attention of a local songwriter and musician. The two soon began writing songs together and she formed her first back-up band. Alysha proved to be a natural on stage and as she began to play live shows with greater frequency, Cedar Trail Music soon took over distribution and promotion of her CD, along with marketing and promotion of Alyshaâs career. Cedar Trail had great success with Alysha and received a positive feedback on Alyshaâs title track, Nuthinâ but a Chevy. The spent 14 weeks on the charts of a U.S. country radio show, reaching #18 in the top 50. In June 2005, Cedar Trailâs indie label -- Cedar Trail Records -- signed Alysha to her first label deal. In November, Alysha's follow-up single This Time reached #1 on the charts of a Toronto-based country station.

On April 1st, 2006, she released her first full length CD, under Cedar Trail Records. The new CD, titled, I TALK COUNTRY, is a combination of self-written, co-written, and songs written for her, but all are originals. The CD covers a variety of country styles from a bit of older toe-tappin',knee slappin' style of country music; to a bit of the wonderfull country ballads; and a bit of New Country style; and even a bit of real Country Rock.

Alysha Brooke wanted to have a CD with something for all country music fans to enjoy, and she has successfully achieved that on this CD.

Those who know Alysha will tell you about her big heart and compassionate nature. She is very committed to charitable causes of all kindsâbut particularly those associated with children or young people.

Although Alysha's voice is still pure and rich, with a touch of vibrato and a soulful, bluesy feel, her voice has now matured incorporating a new powerfull drive to the already existing purety. Her music projects an energy and personality that makes for a unique, alluring and upbeat performance. This truly is high energy country music.
