A virtuoso performer on saxophone and many exotic woodwinds, Ron Allen is an active composer and producer. The contemporary sounds of his music are rooted in classical, jazz and eastern music traditions. Ronâs work is featured on the soundtracks of many creative projects including, Mel Gibsonâs Passion of the Christ and Blue Planet. He records for the Solitudes and Sommerset record labels as well as producing, and playing on, several RSM projects.
Rob Carroll
Since 1981, guitarist Rob Carroll has released 2 LPâs and 2 CDâs of original music for his jazz group, as well as the collaborative Travelogue CD with saxophonist/woodwind player Ron Allen.
As a composer, Rob has scored 2 Canadian feature films including the internationally recognized H by Darrell Wasyk and has written music for dance and theatre productions. Rob lives in downtown Toronto.
