As their name would suggest, this Toronto trio is destined to shine. Not only is their music uplifting, but it is powered with enough kilowatts to light up Las Vegas. If their sound is best described as a combination of modern rock and power pop, then the songs themselves are virtual checklists of the defining qualities of these genres: fresh, concise, energized, emotive... in a word, memorable. Comprised of Kevin Bailey (Bass Guitar), Nick Mazzei (Vocals, Guitar) and Pete Maniatis (Drums), ALL THE BRIGHTNESS present a package characterized by powerful rhythms and melodic vocals, catchy hooks and anthemic choruses.
With prior ventures earning side-stage performances at Toronto's Molson Amphitheatre, song placement on a popular WB network program, and both college and commercial radio airplay, there is certainly no question as to the potential of these three artists. One need look no further than the CD release party for the band's debut release, which sold 650 tickets and packed Toronto's esteemed Revival Nightclub. Armed with a fresh attitude and an arsenal of new material, ALL THE BRIGHTNESS are poised to take the Canadian music scene by storm. If their victory in the recent 'Unearthed' indie music poll at Radio3x.com is any indication, ALL THE BRIGHTNESS are 1st place with music fans.
The debut album 'Lost In The Soul Deposit' was recorded at Electric Machine Studios with producer Sean Baillie (Lindi) and engineer Darius Szczepaniak (Sum 41), and was released in conjunction with the immensely successful 'Blanket of Bliss' charity fundraiser in November 2005, benefiting the Cardiac Kids program at the Hospital for Sick Children. Currently, the band are occupied with select shows around southern Ontario while they shoot their first video, for the song "Never You", which has been earning such rave reviews on GarageBand.com that it was featured as Modern Rock Track of The Day on January 4, 2006 and Rock Track of The Day on April 2, 2006.
