Hello to all you lovely listeners, focused readers, and music lovers! With out you to listen how could a musician survive? Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read about me I feel so special. So please read on I would like to tell you a little bit about myself..... This is the part I always get stuck at.....I can write a poem in minuet but when it come to describing myself I sit tapping or biting my nails. So I guess I want to be as honest and laid back as I can so you can get a true sense of who I am from reading words on a screen. Lets see I starting writing songs when I was 15. With in the first week of getting a guitar I wrote my first song that consisted of one chord, needless to say I don't perform that one anymore. My music is my way of sharing with world how things affect me in this crazy life. Also to soothe people, I am a people watcher and I like to sing for them and see how it affects them. My style is my own, though I have been compared to Norah Jones, Gladys knight, and Ani Difranco. These are all woman I greatly admire. But influences there are many, Nina Simone, Stevie Wonder, Queen, ELO, to Van Morrison. Oh so many, I might take up this whole space trying list all the great music of the past, and I still wouldn't have enough room, plus I would rather talk about the music of the future, right here right now, there is so much beauty on this earth so I write about that, I write about heart ache, every day happenings, human emotion, hence my new record Elixirs for the human heart. It is good! Oh so good. But you won't know that until you hear it for yourself. I wish I could just come to your living room and play for you! This has turned into more so a letter than a bio, so lets see what else can I inform you of? Well I was home schooled all my life. I come from a family of ten. I sing with my older and younger sisters on the street or at a gig. My songs are born straight from my journals. I play because I want to share with people my perspective. Singing is a way of talking and actually saying how I feel. I want to go see this earth and find the worth of all this. Yeah! That is my dream and I know so many shares the same one with me. so this is where I ask for your help, in making local music global music!
