Details:
Amy Leigh works in the Nashville area as a pianist, actress, and teacher, but what originally brought her to Nashville was her work as a singer/songwriter. After graduating from college in small town Ohio, Amy relocated to Tennessee to write and perform her own music in the changing landscape of Nashville's music and Christian music scene. Her eclectic style incorporates aspects of pop, jazz, and folk, with an emphasis on the movement and power of lyrics, but Amy feels most at home singing and playing in front of a piano.

Amy has said about her music:
"I feel spiritually led to write and to communicate what I've learned, what I question, what I fear, to share my experience through song. My music is driven by the natural world and the connection we have to every living thing. The more our world grows, the more disconnected we become from our very nature. I think that every person is free to create his/her own individual truth, and that, in moving toward that truth, we can see God within each person. This journey is what draws me, unceasingly, to writing. We all need to breathe again, and I hope what I sing and play can be a part of the striving, even in a small way, toward that first breath."
