The 420FM Super Meltdown TripFest goes to Spain!
The European Debut of the 420 Funk Mob at the 25th Anniversary Celebration of Spainsh Radio 3 was the headline event at this years Chillin' Drone Festival. 420 Funk Mob leader Mike CLip Payne led a cast and Crew that included the Mobs Lige Curry and Gabe Gonzalez along with special guests Drugs'Rx members Garry Shider and Jeremy Bernstein, Violininst Lily Hadyn, Drummer Zach Alford, Singer Kendra Foster, The Law, Avalon and our very special guest George Clinton for a show that was nationally simulcast on TV and Radio so the entire country got a chance to get thier 420 on with the band.

Also included is the Bonus DVD, "What Time Is It?" The 420 Funk Mob caught live on 4/20/04 in Jacksonville Florida and at the Church of Love and Music's Freedom Festival on July 3 2004. As a 6 piece or 18 piece big band dont miss this rare glimpse of the 420FM onstage and rehearsing!

Led by Parliament-Funkadelic alumni Clip Payne and Garry Shider, this riotous Mob dips a wet finger into early '70s Funkadelic. The 'lectric Kool-Aid they offer is vividly hued, sweet, granular. This 3-CD European debut was recorded live after just three hours of rehearsal,the weird bubbles up readily and frequently revealing a band intent on living new chapters in the George Clinton legacy. The be-dreaded one even joins them in Spain, offering his own funky anointing to the proceedings. This is solid stuff if not the full blown return to Pedro-Bell-psychedelic-glory one might want.
