Drunken Prayer are aware of their influences but they progress them by keeping their tongues far enough away from their collective cheeks that the album sounds classic and fresh at the same time. In the year 2000 Bloodshot Records released, on their 5th year anniversary compilation, a cover of Public Enemy's "Bring the Noise" by a Country Punk trio in gold leather suits from Asheville, North Carolina.
