Details:
Titus "Ti-Do," "T-Vegas," Nesbittâpiano, keyboardist, and organ. He was born in Champaign, IL. He has been playing the piano for 15 years. He went to Parkland College, and began listening to and playing jazz at the age of nine. In the spring of 2002, he played for the Parkland jazz combo for three years under the direction of Kevin Hart. He graduated with a double degree, an Associate of Arts and an Associate of Fine Arts. Now, he is presently attending (EIU), working on his Bachelor's of Music Education-with a vocal emphasis, keyboard principal and an option in Jazz Studies. He is currently playing for the EIU Lab Band and Jazz Combo II under the direction of Simon Rowe, Sam Fagaly, Paul Johnston, and Kyle Slemmer. In the spring of 2003, he played with Willie Atkins, a well-known saxophone player from the St. Louis area. He recently graduated fall 2006 with a Bachelor Degree in Jazz Studies. He recently got a chance to play the great jazz organist Joey Defrancesca from Arizona. He recently attended Nothern Illinois University and studied with Ron Carter jazz educator, and Willie Pickens world renown jazz pianist.
