Don Skipper, born in Homewood, Alabama began his singing career as a lad singing in his church choir. Later, he was approached by various musician friends who recognized his vocal talents and asked him to be the lead vocalist for their musicial groups.

Working full time and continuing his singing career, Don steadily perfected his composing and vocal skills working with various groups and producing commercial music.

Recently, Don has been dedicating his talents to making appearances both as a vocal solist and as a group member of "Clear Distinction", based out of Birmingham, Alabama.

Don's vocal styles and influences have centered around the likes of Jeffrey Osborne, Marvin Gaye and Teddy Pendergrass. His unique voice quality and style are evident in his first solo Cd, "Open Heart".
