Shaw cut his teeth in the late 80s with Shotgun Annie, a staple of the New York music scene, consistently packing venues and opening for some of the eraâs biggest bands. Soul Crunch followed and developed quite a reputation of its own with its manic live shows and dependable blues rock melodies. Shaw later fronted Down With The Blonde. The band, a two-time finalist in the popular Long Island Music Festival, featured Shaw breaking out with intricate rhythms and complex yet accessible hooks.
