Daria(Da-ri'ah) Novy has dedicated this album to a few singers, past and present, who inspired her to follow a new found talent within her. Three years ago, at age twelve, she won a school poetry prize for a poem dedicated to her grandfather's exploits in a long forgotten war. She progressed into writing lyrics and "Let's Dream for Now" became her first composition penned to her father's music, reminding us of the style of the singing of her American Idol, Karen Carpenter. "Smile for Me" evolved after listening to the fabulous European group, ABBA, while the Latin number "Dance With Me Tonight" was inspired
by her favourite - Mark Anthony. "Don; Turn Away" was intended to remind listeners of the fabulous style of Tome Jones. "Never Leave Me" was written with thoughts on the many boys leaving for far off lands in the military. Their loved ones were left behind thinking and worrying about ther fate; this is a song dedicated to those many women whose pain is so real.
