The Davis Brothers Album is the real deal, combining rich harmonies, unique vocal and musical arrangements, and melodic original compositions in an album recorded, arranged, mixed and produced by The Davis Brothers. And yes, Kyley, Brock, Ryan and Justin are actually brothers (no hand-picked boy band here!). Inspired by such artists as the Beach Boys, The Beatles, Frank Sinatra and Andy Williams, and with a background rooted in the church and a family tree rich in musical talent, the brothers began singing and performing while still in elementary school. Encouraged by their parents, the brothers began performing in local churches, entertained at school events, competed in and won numerous talent shows, and all before the oldest brother was even 12 years old.
The brothers recorded and released 3 albums during that time. Though they were young, their ability to harmonize and learn complicated movements with relative ease amazed seasoned musicians and audiences alike, and those early albums have stood the test of time. The brothers continued to sing as they grew into young men, though school and demanding schedules forced them to cut back their traveling and live performances. For a while, the brothers took a break from performing and decided to focus more on writing, producing and arranging.
Their new album, The Davis Brothers Album, is a giant leap for the boys in terms of their writing and studio skills, and itâs clear evidence that their time away from the studio was time well spent. Just a few songs into this album, it becomes apparent to the listener that the brothers are not bound to one particular style, and the project as a whole benefits from their eclectic tastes since the ear and soul is engaged by a wide array of music and sound.
