Never content to merely be the only bass clarinet and viola duo in the world, Darkwood Consort has cultivated a repertoire of exotic instrumental music that blends folk, medieval and classical music delivered with wit. Darkwood has taken its brand of âstand-up chamber musicâ from Idaho to Denmark, the 33rd International Viola Congress in Iceland, the first World Bass Clarinet Conference in Holland to the Katrina-ravaged gulf coast in Mississippi.
