Danny From Sobrante, born Daniel Stith, was raised in the streets of Oakland, CA. Coming from an area where there is one way in and one way out, Sobrante Park influenced him in the direction of the block. Through his struggling life he took desperate measures and found himself in a case for robbery, then being sentenced to 3 years in the YA.

While living behind bars, he found poetry and music as an escape from a cold reality. He began writing in exorbitance, page after page, finding his craft and style while locked down.
