Dave Jay wrote his first song when he was 9 years old about his first crushâkind of an adult theme for a young kid to write about. Now heâs an adult and this recent batch of songs is a whimsical collection of child-inspired ditties; I guess itâs all come full circle.

Dave Jay was a Finalist in the CT Comedy Festival and appeared on ABC-TVâs âThe Viewâ as their Original Song Contest Winner. He was also honored as a Special Guest Performer in Shure Microphoneâs âBest Singer/Songwriter in New Yorkâ competition. You may have also heard his original JâBlammo Pop⢠music (ââ¦come up with your own name, youâve got your own genreâ¦â) on MTV, licensed for their programs âThe Osbournesâ, âClone Highâ and âUndressedâ.
