Written by Lanny Sherwin, a songwriting Dad who was driven to the brink of nutsdom by existing lullaby CDs, these beautifully produced songs will be enjoyed over and over (and over!) again.

Lanny Sherwin is president of Sandman Records and the writer/producer Dream With Me Tonight". Born in Cleveland, OH., and raised on the rock, folk, Motown and garage band influences of the 60s & 70s, Lanny has had a guitar in his hand since his teens. After he saw The Beatles in concert, he was hooked on music for life.

His varied and occasionally checkered career has included: tagging sea turtles in southwest Florida; volunteering for Project Head Start; mowing 12, 715 lawns; writing and photographing for a weekly newspaper; running 9 marathons; owning an award-winning magazine publishing company in Naples, FL; founding member of the seminal oldies band, "Midlife Crisis"; staff songwriter in Nashville; owner of the music publishing company, Sherwin Communications, Inc.

Little-known fact: Lanny has shared podiums with Henry Kissinger, Barbara Walters, Mike Wallace and Thomas Wolfe (email him to find out why.)

Lanny and his wife, Holly - an environmental educator - and their 8 year old son, Alec (the inspiration for "Dream With Me Tonight"), live in Santa Barbara, CA.

Melodie Crittenden is the voice behind "Dream With Me Tonight", and what a voice! With Melodie singing, Moms and Dads will want to hit the "Repeat" button as often as their kids.

An Oklahoma native, Melodie knew she wanted to be a singer since she was 9 years old when she and her family traveled the country singing Southern gospel music.

A former Asylum Records recording artist, Melodie's debut CD, "Melodie Crittenden" was released in 1998. She has toured internationally with the likes of Billy Joel, Amy Grant, and Neil Diamond.

Part Gladys Knight, a touch Faith Hill, a dash of Sheryl Crow - Melodie's deep and subtle voice is just right to inhabit these 10 precious lullabies. She gives them sweetness and soul, sincerity and sophistication. That's why Moms and Dads, as well as their yawning children, will enjoy the dreamy quality of Melodie's soothing voice.

Tech-Head Dreamer
Bryan Cumming owns and operates Studio 23 in Nashville, TN, where he produces independent projects for singers and songwriters. One of the projects that brought out a multitude of Bryan's talents was "Dream With Me Tonight." Not only did he associate produce, engineer and mix the entire project in his studio, he also played synthesizers, acoustic & electric guitars, tenor & soprano saxophones, flute, & percussion!

As a musician, Bryan has recorded and toured with a variety of artists, including K.T. Oslin, Anne Murray, Al Jarreau, the Pointer Sisters, and David Soul. As a member of Billy Vera and the Beaters, he played on the #1 single "At This Moment." He played lead guitar for ShaNaNa for four years.

Dreamin' & Ticklin' The Ivories
Bob Patin, a Louisiana bayou boy, is a session keyboard player in Nashville. That means he's one of the best of the best and has toured with the likes of Jerry Reed, Ray Price, the Everly Brothers, and Crystal Gayle.


Graphic Dreamer
Theo Rudnak, another Cleveland, OH. native, brought the musical themes of "Dream With Me Tonight" together in a single compelling image that graces the CD's front cover. Theo's illustration clients include Businessweek, The Atlantic Monthly, Disney, the National Football League, Sony, the Harvard Business Review, Newsweek and now Sandman Records.
