Daryle Ackerman studied computer science at Okanagan University College in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada and at the University of Victoria which is also in B. C.. He received a Computer Information Systems diploma in 1998 which has allowed him to achieve gainful employment in the software development sector, which, in turn, now supports his musical endeavours. These include three solo albums' worth of original material, the last of which -- "Attention to Detail" -- is over fourty-nine minutes in length and includes fourteen original songs.

- recorded all of his latest album, "Attention to Detail", in 2,005, written since 2,003 but mostly in 2,005 on equipment paid for by Daryle's critically-acclaimed tenure at the Kelowna Art Gallery as a database development expert; Daryle is quite proud of his prolific musical creations of 2,005 and has plenty of good material that didn't make it onto the latest album that he plans to have released as at least an EP and also a separate full-length album, some of which he feels is his strongest work yet
