Superior has been in the game for over 15 years, producing and promoting underground artists, top artist DMX and helped with promoting Ruff Ryder Records from 1990 to present. He is one of the people responsible for helping DMX become a phenomenon. (DMX has sold over 20 million albums)
The Bully from D-Block/Most Hated
Recently Superior has promoting one of his newer artists The Bully from D-Block/Most Hated. He has sold over 4,000 Mix CDs and 1600 Vinyl singles distributed in Canada, England, Japan, and other European countries through CD Baby and V.I.P. Record Pool. In the US he has been on various DJs mix CDs (Big Mike, Green Lantern, DJ Clue, DJ Scooby Doo, DJ Big L and of course DJ Superior.) He also featured in the Akon video with Styles P and has a hot new single called âItâs Onâ featuring Sheek from D-Block.
The label, Most Hated, formed in 1992 started releasing Mix Street CDs. DMX and Superior were largely responsible for putting Yonkers on the map. DMX and Superior have moved over 15,000 Mix CDs before his signing with Def Jam Records in â97. Superior, DMX and Big Jinx were all members of the group Gangsters of da Ghetto
Superior also has an artist signed to BloodLine Records named Big Jinx. Under BloodLine/Def Jam he released a single on DMXâs âCradle To The Graveâ soundtrack. He performed the song âItâs Gonna Be What Itâs Gonna Beâ with Big Loose and the soundtrack sold over 780,000 units. Jinx has sold over 3,500 Mix CDs under Most Hated. He has won a ton of rap battle and some say he is the next DMX.
