The Dustbowlers are a Washington, DC based trio of transplanted mid-westerners who play original rock and roll with heaping helpings of folk, country and blues piled high on top.

Their third CD songs and blues is a landscape of the dreams and despairs, water towers and neon lights that line the back roads from Pine Ridge to Hollywood.

Tim Penney, lead singer, guitarist and all around multi-instrumentalist, wrote the songs based on his travels around the country during the last few years.
