Details:
Adam Dias or, (Dias) as better known by friends, grew up in Northern California, not San Francisco but about five hours north of that in the County of Humboldt. Learning his first instrument, the Bass, at age 9 and then the guitar at 10. Dias has always been influenced by his father, a long time local musician of Humboldt and a damn fine songwriter, John Dias.

"Growing up with the sounds of bands like GNR, Motley Crue and Metalica, its hard to imagine myself as a singer songwriter sometimes but I have been heavily influenced by Country music. I just love the stories. I also enjoy the styles of Reggae, Hip Hop and funk, really almost all styles of music but Motown is my favorite. When I write, I hope at any given time I can provide listeners with a different style. I love artists like Prince who can just change things up almost effortlessly. To me it really defines music. I have, over the years, been able to do quite a bit of engineering and producing in the studio working with longtime friend and engineer, Brad Holman on my debut album as well as working with friend and fellow songwriter, James Holland. I dont think we ever really know were we are going but, in my case, I just hope there's a guitar, some players and people that love good music wherever I end up."
