Dialog is the alias of London based producer Andy Smith.
As well as wrting electonic music, he also performs laptop sets.
His tracks have earnt plays on Dave Mothersole's deephouse radio show on Kiss FM & London's Big Chill Bar & Soxan club.
He is a veteran of 90's UK electronic scene and saw most of the key acts such as Orbital, Underworld, Ultramarine, Spooky, Sabres of Paradise, Seefeel, Aphex Twin, Global Communications, Fluke, Autechre, Lamb, Mixmaster Morris to name a few. These days he likes the eclectic downtempo scene at the Big Chill and currently rates Air, Aim, Gel-Sol & Ulrich Schnauss.
6 of the 8 songs on Music for Imaginary Movies were co-written with Alan Platten, a producer who has now relocated to the USA. Alan also contributed the artwork to the album.
