Details:
What do you get when you combine 12 luscious songs, a beautiful voice that you can sing along with all day long and rich, delightful orchestrations? CHOCOLATE: Songs of Love is the answer. This is an album you will want to keep at the top of your play list. Vocalist/Pianist/Songwriter Deborah Johnson has been called "gifted" and this album definitely showcases her creative genius. CHOCOLATE is Deborah's tenth album and contains three songs from her second full length original musical.

This album is dedicated to her grandmother, an immigrant from Italy who played violin in Carnegie Hall when she was 17. She then graduated from the New York Conservatory of Music in 1920, quite a feat for a woman at that time. After entering an arranged marriage and having a dozen children, she never played again. Even though she is gone from this life, her gift lives on. Deborah has never had to quit creating music because of culture or society restraints and hopes to keep the arts alive for both men and women of this and future generations.
