About Derius:
I am a 27y/o single father of 3 girls and one boy. I've been a single custodial parent for 3 years. In which I LLC'ed my company, built a studio, went to Los Angeles Recording Engineer School, in Hollywood CA all while maintaining a household, cooking, cleaning, etc. And here I am to this very day doing the same thing.

I really don't know what category my music falls under. I would like to say I have an older more mature R&B/Neosoul sound. I think that the way music is now we've lost the real feeling of uplifting people and replaced it with bragging and turning the youth down the wrong path of violence and HIV. I don't think I will try to change the world, but I will give people an alternative. Nice, calm, poetic, smooth, and sexy yet discrete music. Sound that stimulates emotion in the heart of men towards the female to counter-act the effect of the Pimps and Hoes that main stream music pumps into our minds. As well as lyrics that put the honor back into women so that they know they are potential Queens. I am not trying to change the whole world, but I am trying to be an alternative to R&B. So I guess thats what I'd call my music, Alternative R&B.

Derius produced this album, with the help of great musicians like Sly Yates, Sam M., Art Sarimento, And Reginald Stewart. He also wrote and performed all vocals on this album.
