The term "blues-rocker" doesn't begin to capture the force of nature that is Halley DeVestern.

The "red-headed howitzer's" new CD more than fulfills the promise of her critically acclaimed debut "Sugar Free" and its acoustic followup, "Live at the Towpath Inn."

With producer Denise Barbarita at the helm, "Superhero Killer" flings open the infernal gates with a rawer sound than ever.
