Details:
At age nine, I had a few guitar lessons, fiddled around about four months, then threw it off our balcony. Never touched the instrument again until age 23, already a carpenter for 3 years. That's when my appreciation for folk set in. A tasty sound with something to say, and I've been singing story ever since (as a writer).

At 46, still swinging hammers and writin' tunes, seems the music industry isn't too impressed. But if I may toot my own horn, I had some radio play locally (knew the DJ), placed in some contests (won best folk album in Hawaii, 2003), and my instrumentals are being played as background music in surf films (locally).

I was fortunate enough to have built a few recording studios where the nice folks there gave me the liberty to throw down my melodies. Therefore, the 10 or so albums I recorded would not have been possible and Can't Sing Records never born --
