"Lynn Brownell, Singer/Songwriter/Pianist" is all original music produced wonderfully by Dik Shopteau, an amazingly creative, talented musician/songwriter/producer in Minneapolis back when Dik was producing music at Cookhouse Studios.
Lynn Brownell is a Singer/Songwriter/Pianist living and working in NYC. Originally from Minnesota, Lynn began her professional career as a performer in 1980, but her music goes back much farther than that. The Brownell household was filled with music long before she was ever born. Being the last born of 4 children, Lynn was exposed to amazing music even when in the womb. Her Father, Ron Brownell, was an icon in the Twin Cities, best known for his flawless, floating technique on the Wurlitzer Organ, but also plays piano, accordian and paints beautifully in oil and watercolor. Lynn Brownell played almost every 5 star and restaurant in Minneapolis and St.Paul, until she moved to NYC in 1999.
