Laguna! are a five-member musical mélange of everything from pop, jazz, dance hall reggae, and the international intrigue of lounge-tronica. Sequenced soundscapes assist in adding density and a strong foundation to the music. Laguna! embraces the styles of Bjork, Pizzicato 5, Jamiroquai, Cibo Matto, Steel Pulse, Miles Davis, Radiohead, The Sundays, Japan and other eclectic artists. The group was formed in October 1998.

Shane Peck is the musical scientist behind the sequences and drums. Shane's compositions are rare and exotic little melodies. Lydia Nor is the lead singer who also like to experiment with different types of percussion. Lydia aims to connotate the mystery of faraway lands and languages in her lyrics and melodies. Keane Peterson is the highly talented bass player who fills out Laguna's sound with extremely melodic, complex and very punchy grooves.
