La Vetta is the mother of two sons, Minister Walter Brandon and Pastor Anthony Perkins and the grandmother of eight.
As a member of Center of Praise she serves as a Praise and Worship Leader.
La Vetta loves the Lord with all her heart and believes that the best way to serve Him is to serve others. Her testimony is Romans 8:28: âAnd we know all things work together for good to them that love God and are called according to His purpose.â

The awesome part about this project is that La Vetta almost lost her ability to sing due to a nerve in her right vocal chord being severed during a cervical lamenectomy surgery. For several years she was unable to speak above a whisper or sing with any power. But thanks be to God who has given her the Victory (through Jesus Christ), God has restored her voice and with this project she is able to express that it is Only "But for the Grace of God" that she is able to "Bless the Name of Jesus". Listen to these two powerful messages declared in song, and be blessed.
