A compilation disc of Canadian Lawyers from London Ontario performing a broad range of musical styles for charity, including rap, rock, soul, jazz, bluegrass, country and soothing guitar pieces..suprisingly very good.
12 MP3 Songs
COUNTRY: Country Pop, POP: Today's Top 40
Details:
"Justice and Music for All" is a compilation effort by lawyers from London Ontario who wanted to produce a cd of compilation music to raise money for the homeless in our area. The cd was recorded over a period of 10 months at a local studio and the results have suprised the local community who have heard the cd. A local entertainment news magazine rated the cd at a B+ rating, the same as Elvis Costello who rated that day also.
The songs range in style from pop guitar driven blues to soul to bluegrass to Mel Torme style crooning to a catchy country song called "I'd Rather Be with You (Than to be out Fishin'), to a clever rap song to a sad but strong touching song about failed efforts to find love. There are two beautiful acoustic guitar and keyboard numbers that are dreamlike and soothing to the soul. (Lawyers in particular are in need of this perhaps? I expect that we all need this kind of inspiration)
Well worth the money, give it a try and you will be pleasantly suprised.
