Ladies and gentleman, we present to you Luis Arizpe.
In August of 2005, Luis entered the recording studio with 12 songs and a couple of friends and pressed the "record" button. John Condit, of the Notorious Sinners, played the drums. And though he was new to the style, being the consumate professional, he pulled it off without blinking. Bruce Witter played the bass and never looked back. When the dust settled, and they walked back out of the studio, the guys had made musical history - the debut album, "Big Little Guy".
"At some point, a line has to be crossed. You're either going to walk in another man's shoes - working and living a life that's not truly yours - or you're going to live in freedom with your nerves on edge, never really feeling the ground beneath your feet and just knowing that the biggest adventure of your life is unraveling before you."
After years of toiling "in another man's shoes", Luis decided that enough was enough and decided to do something about it. So, he grabbed his guitar and went to work.
Armed with a determination for melody and improvisational solos harking back to the jazz and blues masters of the past, the band sets out to win the hearts and minds of their audience while bringing a little slice of freedom to the world.
