Luxxury declares the rock/dance wars over with a future-retro soundtrack to please smalltown indie kids and downtown fashionistas alike. The forthcoming debut CD "Dirty Girls Need Love Too/Sex With Rich People" employs electro-enhanced live beats, Moroder-y synths, heroic guitars and sardonic lyrics to chronicle the rise and fall of legendary Sunset Strip groupie Sable Starr.
Live, Baron Von Luxxury plays guitar and sings, while Sha and Rico provide bass and drums respectively. Devin is in Brooklyn with his MPC and sends us a lot of FedExes. In his absence, the synth and sequencing machines take care of themselves because they are terribly, terribly smart. Luxxury brings todays kids and tomorrow's adults the futuristic sounds of yesterday, but sexier, and properly groomed.
