Katherine Luckhardt is a singer/songwriter/guitarist from Stratford, Ontario, Canada. She studied Music Production with Jack Richardson, producer of artists such as The Guess Who and Alice Cooper. While she has produced and recorded with other artists, this is her first release of solely original songs.
The songs on 'Writing On the Wall' were written and recorded by Katherine in her home studio, except for the drums which were performed by South Mountain drummer, Jay Riehl and recorded at his studio, The Swamp.
Track one of this cd, "Hunger Now', is included in a benefit compilation cd for Instrument Lenders Canada, a nonprofit organization providing musical opportunities for those in need.

Katherine has performed regularly in southern Ontario in rock bands and solo. Most recently she performs solo and with the trio, "Gypsy". She is currently writing and recording a follow-up to this cd and also teaches guitar.
