'Check finFile'... I have no clue!
August 18, 2009 04:44PM
I used fileZilla to upload my file, which fileZilla says is 'successful'... I don't know where to go from here. When entering tradebit, under 'my files' it shows nothing. Please help, thanks.

hi - if you upload with an FTP client, the files land in your "staging" directory....

click on the "EASY ADMIN" in the upper right and change into the power admin:

there, under FILES, is a sub-menu: List Uploads...

from there you sort the files into the categories.

ok?

Ok so I'm on FileZilla, and I can't find 'easy admin' anywhere. Is there anywhere I can get a screen picture of what you mean exactly?

Thanks

hi, i mean AFTER you uploaded the file to tradebit you must log in on tradebit and sort the files out of the FTP directory INTO the catalog...

I have signed into tradebit, but can't find where my uploads are. I did get an email that it has successfully uploaded, but cant find it on the website. tradebit is not very clear to use. The link i got from the email just takes me to the 'browse files' section but my files are no where to be seen....

Let me layout the process from the start:

1.) open the filezilla FTP client

2.) connect to "ftp.tradebit.com" with your username and password

3.) upload the files you want to sell

4.) close filezilla, open the browser

5.) go to tradebit.com and log in with your username and password

6.) if in "EASY ADMIN" mode, go to "upload new" in the main menu

7.) select the button "already uploaded via FTP" and a drop down box with your uploaded, but not sorted files will appear

If that drop-down box does not appear with your files, you may have uploaded them to the wrong directory. The files MUST be in the main FTP dir...

hope that helps,

ralf
